Ipad Faulty Lightning USB Cable Charger - Fixing Failed

Whoever have the Ipad is certain to eventually having the lightning cable charger gone bad. The most likely fault usually one of the cable is broken somewhere especially near the root of the slot. The problem is to replace the cable with the original one is kind of costly and if it is spoil too frequent you will get annoyed losing money just for a cable.



So inspired by some of the youtube videos that we can fix the cable - i've tried it on my own and eventually failed due to the lack of experience and unknown structure of the cable inside the insulator. In my case i was trying to fix the red cable which is obviously almost cut off and i've soldered it perfectly. However after the fix the cable still won't charge the ipad - i was thinking that it could be discontinuity somewhere inside the small chip casing and tried to open it. The experience of doing it kind of tough because the chip casing is too small for most tools and you have to find the tiniest of sharp object to scrap it off.



After successfully opened up the chip casing i found that there are 4 cables which i didn't quite realize and one of the still broken. The cable is lined along the insulator and it looks like a cotton which mistakenly realize. I didn't manage to fix the cable because of the tiny chip has broken during the removal. The fix was a failure but that is not the end as i learned something new from the cable. So next time i know what to do and how many cables are there.
